INLAND TRANSPORT.  Once cargo has transited the port, inland delivery by road or rail in FCL or breakbulk mode is possible.  Particularly were long distances are involved the group maintains competitive rail contracts and containers can be re-stuffed into wagons at Modul’s own stating facility located adjacent to the international feeder terminal in region 3 of the port.  As a result of Modul’s long term contacts with the railway no delays are experience in obtaining rail wagons or rail platforms.

CHARTER VESSELS.  Both, the UK and Russian offices, have experience in-house shipbrokers who are able to charter vessels tailored to clients needs for larger breakbulk parcels.  This includes sea / river boats utilizing the Volga-Balt and Volga – Don inland navigation system.

CHINESE CARGO.  An agency at the Chinese / Russian border is maintained to cater for the growing volume of Chinese traffic being delivered to Russia by the all rail route.  The office is located in Zabaikalsk on the Russian side of the boarder, and for clients buying on a “DAF Manzhouli” basis is able to receive Chinese wagons at Manzhouli, the Chinese side of the boarders, re-stuff into Russian wagons and prepare the Russian transit documentation.
