Removal In Transit

- We are licensed by Customs and Excise to clear with customs your goods in
  transit (through Zambia) e.g. to Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Malawi,
  Tanzania, etc...

Final Clearance

- Imports for consumption or destined for Zambia.  Final Clearance of this catergory
  is handled at respective ports of entry by our very competent officers.

Exports From Zambia

- We handle all types of Exports at all indicated border stations.

Our Target Client For South Africa

• Transport (Trucker) passing through Zambia with dutiable goods via Chirundu border from Zimbabwe, Livingstone (Victoria and Kazungula borders) from either Zambabwe or Botswanarespectively and Chanida border from Mozambique.  This client can use our removal-in-transit bond facility without paying anything to customs authorities in Zambia.

• Importer of cotton seed and lint from Zambia especially from Eastern Province of Zambia to South Africa to advise their transporters to use B.S. Freight for the preperation of customs documents and clearing with customs through up to exit port.  This will remove delays they experienced while waiting for customs clearance.

• Companies exporting goods to Zambia to call on our competent officers at respective above-mentioned borders ar reduced rates.

• Some customs clearing Agents and consolidators of goods destined for Zambia to manifest and ore-alert us of in coming goods.  This could enable us quickly liaise with respective Zambian importers for on time responce.

• Congolese car / vehicle buyers from our Removal-in-transit bond facilitation.  Our rates are very low.  All our current clients can attest to this efffect.

We handle some of the prominent Companies such as Lever Brothers at Mwami border from Malawi, Clark Cotton (Zambia) Ltd at Chanida Border from South Africa via Mozambique and a good number of cargo destined for DRC passing through Zambia via Chirundu and Livingstone.  This has been difficult though, because we are still not very well known.

Wishes

We wish that some of the trucks from South Africa carring goods to Libongwe (not Blantyre) instead of waiting for many days to be cleared at Mwanza border, they could go to Libongwe and clear at Mchinji via Chanida border through Zambia (Chipata Town) at Chanida border we would provide them with removal-in-transit facility at negotiated rates between U.S.$ 100.00 - U.S.$ 60.00.

They would clear at Chanida with 30 to 50 minutes and sleep in Libonbwe the same day.  (we used the handle truckers such as YR of Malawi, but this facility was disconnected, but now BS Freight is there to stay and assist Malawian importers / truckers to Libongwe of neccessary delays due to queves at Mwanza border)

Importers in Congo .D.R getting their goods through Beira port need not pass through Zimbabwe via Charundu border.  They should use the shorter route via Chanida border and where drivers only spend 30 - 50 minutes at the border.

If most of the goods from South Africa to Chipata district (Eastern Province)could be manifested BS Freight Services as the sole clearing agent.  If truckers going to Malawi border with cargo could pass through Zambia through Mozambique via Chanida border (especially those carring fertilizer to Libongwe).
