Enterprises Limited was incorporated in 1970.
The
main objectives of the Company are:-
- To
be a major consultant and contractor in
Engineering fields of manufacturing Research
and Development both for Government and other
private clients.
- To
product Aluminium Hollow ware consisting of
Pots and Pans, Steel Toe-caps, Shoe shanks and
Gang nails.
- Manufacture
Engineering products to Customers satisfaction
through the Engineering Workshops.
- Acquire
and Lease out for rent both domestic and
commercial properties.

Today
the company takes pride in the fact that it
manufactures premier quality aluminium Kitchen
ware of various shapes and types.
It produces high standard toe-caps for the
safety shoe industry.
The Machine Workshop produces various types
of Engineering products.
The
Real Estates department has grown to manage some
85 enviable houses and some commercial properties
in the City of Lusaka.
The
future for the Company stands bright.
Our only competitors in the production of
Toe-caps in the Southern region are Zimbabwe and
South Africa.
We are holding the for in Zambia.
All
in all, the company is a compact, streamlined
business organization.

Product
Range
|
| Aluminium
Kitchen Ware:-
This range of products include pots of
various sizes 2 litres, 4 litres, 5.5
litres and 7 litres, frying and sauce
pans.
This range of Kitchen Ware is
produced from 99.5% pure aluminium.
These products are commonly
used, with great durability, on hot
plate cookers.
The range of products are
designed to have steel handles and
different colours for the bakelite
handles, fitted according to
Customer’s taste. |

Plain
Carbon Steel Toe-caps:-
This product is used in the
Manufacture of industrial safety shoes
and boots to protect toes from falling
objects.
They are produced out of very
specific and high quality steel
specifications to maintain industrial
requirements and standards.
The toe-caps are subjected to
strength heat treatment and testing
procedures before they are sold. |

| Gang
Nails:-
Both Galvanised and Mild steel based
Gang nails are produced by Zamcapitol
Enterprises Limited.
Gang nails are used for various
purposes.
They are used in the
reinforcing of transmission power pole
ends, construction of wooden trusses
(like ones used in the construction of
the (COMESA SECRETARIAT-LUSAKA) and on
wooden railway sleepers. |

Engineering Workshops:- Our
Engineering workshops provide a
service available to external
individual and industrial Customers. The workshop has, among other machines, Lathe machines,
Milling machines, Furnaces, Hydraulic
Presses and other complementary
machinery.
The Workshop boast of have a
lathe with one of the longest beds in
Zambia. |

Estate:- The Company prides itself
of owning and renting out 85 houses in
premium residential areas, of Lusaka
Commercial properties on long lease
are equally available.
The Real Estate has a team of
vibrant maintenance personnel who do
all the contractual repair and
maintenance for the Company.

Plans |
| In
order to improve the factory capacity and
efficiency, Zamcapitol Enterprises Limited has
incorporated into it’s development plans,
the procurement of modern high density presses
for improvements of line production.
New trimming and riveting machines will
be purchased to improve finish of products.
Projects are
underway and some at very advanced stages to
incorporate other types of units in the
production.
This will increase our selection for
the customers.
Existing
export market in Congo DR, Uganda, Tanzania
and Ethiopia still exists for our products.
The company is currently exploiting the
introduction of COMESA Free Trade Area to
expand our export market.
Zamcapitol
Enterprises Limited production line is
earmarked for positive adjustment.
A modern continuous flow production
system will be incorporated to increase our
productivity in line with our market drive.
The
improvement, modernization and indeed
expansion of our engineering research and
development policies is at the core of
managements aspirations.
Zamcapitol
Enterprises Limited has deliberate plans to
involve its Customers in the quest to get its
market share.
An exercise to find a commonly accepted
brand name for our pots and pans is in the
offing. Our systematic and aggressive marketing stance will steer us
on. We
know that our continued participation in
regional trade shows will result in improved
