Justin Chashi is a Lawyer of Sixteen (16) years standing having been called the Bar in 1985.  He has a blend of experience from both the public and private sector and is poised to provide legal services to both individual and corporate clients in a broad spectrum of the Law.  He has served as Legal Counsel for Mufulira District Counsel, Advocate in the firm of Lloyd Siame and Company, Legal Counsel for Meridien Group of Companies and Chibote Group of Companies.

Since the inception of the firm he has been concerned with Banking Law, Commercial and Corporate related Law, Civil and Industrial Relations and Conveyancing.  The firms major works have included creation of securities for Bank Of Zambia, Zambia National Commercial Bank, Barclays Bank of Zambia Limited and African Banking Corporate Limited.  The firm was also involved in the negotiations of leasing out of Kasaba Bay and Transformation of Zambia Sugar into a Public Limited Company.

• Settlement of disputes before Counts of Law in Civil Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Industrial Litigation.  Also settlement of disputes under Mediation and Arbitration.  These services include debt collecting, foreclosures, enforcement of debentures, and general Commercial disputes. 

Legal Drafting:

• Debentures, Mortgages, Commercial Agreements, Service Agreements, Trust, powers of Attorney, Tenancy and Lease Agreements, Contracts of sale etc.

Advisory Service:

• Research and rendering of opinions on a broad range of matters including Banking Law, Company Law, Commercial Law, Land Law and Tort.

Company Law:

• Company Secretarial work starting from Company formation, filing of annual returns, preparation and registration of securities.
