is a Local Manufacturing facility which was
recently acquired based in Ndola. We manufacture
Fluorescent Fittings, Meter and distribution
boxes, Single and Double Plate Cookers, Mercury
Light holders and general sheet metal work. All
components used are sourced from ISO 9000
accredited manufacturers or their appointed
Distributors.

OUR
RECORD: Although the company was recently
acquired by us, the products were being supplied
to the market by its fore-runner called “Electro
Products Ltd”. The fluorescent fittings are
currently in use practically at all the mines of
both MCM Plc. We intend to include the security
feature of “embossing” the client’s name on the
fittings depending on the options chosen. |

found universal usage in a lot of Industrial and

This material is extremely cost effect in areas
where lubrication is lacking or ignored, such as
Loading box bushes, crusher bushes etc.

operations. Being a low lubricating product, it
is being supplied to very specific operations so

The tools are commonly used by tradesmen.

are able to offer in individual pieces as
well as complete tools kits. We currently
hold adequate stocks to support reasonable
requests at any one time and where it is not
locally available, almost all items are ex
stock in our principals warehouses in UK and
hence delivery can be made within 2/3 weeks
of the order.

as MCM. We hold a substantial stock of

in stock locally as well. Another notable
achievement, was that we supplied a 500-Ton
capacity sets of hydraulic equipment to KCM
Nchanga mine for maintenance Crushers. |

These machines come in three different
versions. Forward Rotation only (CF
Model), Forward and Reverse Rotation
(CH Models) and Remote Controlled
Independent Power Rotation Model
(SD123IR Models). These fast acting
big-bore Drifters deliver more
drilling power for long-hole drilling.

OUR RECORD: These products
are used in all the Mines under KCM
PLC, MCM PLC, Chiluluma Mines as well
as former RAMCOZ. We are currently
supplying these to KCM PLC under a
contract arrangement and hence most
spares are held as stocks in our
warehouse. |

120 BLAST HOLE DRILLS |

Agents for SOUTHERN DENVER of
RSA, manufacturers and suppliers
of GARDNER DENVER (GD) blasthole
Drills. The Southern Denver in
RSA have more than one version
of the Drill to cater for the
actual needs of the user.
Nchanga Open Pit had acquired
five refurbished GD 120’s during
the past two years.

above machines both locally and
direct from our principals. |

ROCK DRILLING BUTTON BITS |
|
Agents for I.M.B.M. of FINANCE
and NASHUA who manufacture the
Top Hammer Button Bits and
related accessories. These are
in use at various divisions and
new tests are being carried our
on improved versions of bits to
be in line with customer demand
and expectations.
The company has ISO 9000
accreditation.

OUR RECORD: After
completion of Tests, we started
supplying bits from stock on
local Purchase basis. However,
substantial orders have been
placed with our principals in
the past few months, as a result
of the bits outstanding
performance during the tests.
Our range has now been expanded
to include extension equipment
such as rods, couplings and
shanks. There has been a
contract with KcM for supply of
the bits of various sizes. We
currently stock locally, all the
most extensively used bits in
our Bonded Warehouse. |

DIAMOND DRILLING ACCESSORIES |
|
This range of products is also
manufactured by I.M.B.M. of
FRANCE. It comprises
Impregnated Diamond Bits (IDB),
Surface Sets, Reaming Shells,
Core Barrels and spares,
Casings, Casing Shoes as well as
Drill Rods. These products were
tested in all divisions during
the year and have proved not
only successful but cost effect
at the same time.
We have since built up stocks
locally for most of the standard
sizes from which we are
supporting all mining divisions.

OUR RECORD: Due to the
policy by the Mines to award the
drilling contract to outside
Drillers, we have not had much
sales on this product although,
during ZCCM period, these
products proved to be very cost
effective. |
