The Corporation was formed as a reaction to the
Liberalisation of the Zambian Insurance Industry in 1991

The Corporation underwrites both Life and Non-Life Insurances
at its Head Office in Professional Insurance House in Lusaka,
and Branch Offices in Kitwe and Livingstone
as well as at the Zonal Office in Finance House, Ndola.

In addition the Corporation administers and manages Pension Funds.
