Group Life Assurance

Group Life Assurance
provides cover for members of a defined group of individuals, (usually all
employees of a coperate body) in the event of their death. Unlike
Personal Accident Insurance, cover is provided from death of any cause,
and most individual members will not be required to undergo any medical
tests. The premiums for these policies are usually met by the
employer, and the cover can be expressed as a multiple of the annual
salary, or asa stilulated amount for each member.
GLA can be taken out in conjunction with a pension scheme or on a stand alone basis. |
