Mulungushi Village Complex was constructed in 1970
by the Government of the Republic of Zambia
in order to host Non-Aligned Conference.

Following this Conference,
the Village was put to alternative use,
until June 1982 when it was transferred to
National Hotels Development Corporation (NHDC) as Equity Capital.


At present Mulungushi Village Complex has the following structure:-

89 Four Bedroomed Fully furnished Villas

16 Fully furnished Apartments -
8 One bedroomed
8 Two bedroomed
These are leased out on long term.

Central Amenities Block (CAB) has the following facilities:-
Restaurant with Lounge Bar
7 Hotel Rooms
2 Tennnis Courts
2 Squash Courts
Swimming Pool
Board Room Ideal for Seminars, Workshops,
Weddings, Receptions and Parties.

The Village is situated in Kalundu area,
7Km from Lusaka Town Centre,
about 300 metres off Great East Road,
opposite the University of Zambia.

The village covers an area of 45 hectares.
