or book savings option
With
PowerSave you can choose to use either an
automated teller machine (ATM) savings card or
a savings book that you use inside the bank at
the counter.

| Record
- keeping
You can keep your ATM
receipts to see a record of your transactions
at the bank. With a savings book every
transaction is right there for you to see,
together with your balance.

| Opening
the account
To
open a PowerSave Account with an ATM card you
need to deposit a minimum of R500. If
you want to use a PowerSave Account with a
savings book, you will need a deposit of R1
000.

|
More
money, more interest
The more money you
have in your account the more interest you will earn.
|
Regular
income
If you want a regular
income for yourself, PowerSave is the savings account
for you. The interest earned on your account is
calculated on the closing balance each day and paid into
your account on the 16th of every month or the following
businss day if the 16th of every month or the following
business day if the 16th is a Sunday or public holiday.

Financial
discipline
With PowerSave you can
withdraw your money only once a month. Stop orders
and electronic debits are also not allowed. This
means you will not be tempted to withdraw your money
before it can gather interest.

Lower
fees
If the average monthly
balance in your account is at least R 2000, you will not
be charged account maintenance fees. Also, certain
other transaction fees will not be levied. To find

Automatic
payments
If your employer
agrees, you can choose to have an amount of money
automatically deducted from your weekly or monthly
earnings and deposited into your PowerSave account.

CashPoint
ATMs
As Peoples Bank is
part of the Nedcor Group, you have access to more than a
1 000 CashPoint ATMs in South Africa. This means
that your PowerSave Atm card gives you fast access to
your cash anywhere, anytime.
So, you can get the
full PowerSave service wherever you see an ATM with the
CashPoint sign. You can also draw your monety from
over 4 000 Saswitch ATMs around the country.
