Over the past three years, Phikwe Dry Port handled an average of 17600 metric tons of cargo per year.  This includes containerization an break bulk cargo handling.  the commodities range from copper nickel matte, sugar, cotton yarn, paint, etc...

Cargo Handled

From the time of inception, we have handled numerous big projects, ranging from mining, textiles, government relief projects and ship's agency operations.  Furthermore, Selebi Phikwe also house the biggest copper - nickel mine in Botswana.

Nata Clearing and Forwarding is currently responsible for the transportation of an average of 370 X 6m containers per month for this mine, in terms of their international trade agreements (Import / Export).

The Company is also further responsible for the transportation of an average of 100 X 6m containers per month, pertaining to various other industries in the region.

Nata Clearing and forwarding has the expertise and knowledge to negotiate a complete logistical solution for the transportation of cargo to and from Botswana especially in the Northern Regions.

Phikwe Dry Port, land port situated at Selebi Phikwe Botswana, offers container handling, bulk storage, break bulk handling and distribution, bonded warehouse facility, holding empty containers, etc.  This port is successfully handling and exporting locally manufactured copper-nickel ore to Europe for the past ten years.

Nata Clearing & Forwarding is responsible for customs clearing, both in Botswana and R.S.A. ports, freight forwarding and transport logistics.  N.C.F. has formed strategic alliance with number of international shipping lines and other Botswana /south African clearing and forwarding agents in order to facilitate the smooth and seamless transportation of cargo to and from Botswana.

Recently we opened up a clearing & forwarding branch at martins drift border to cater the needs of international transporters and business houses who are operating through R.S.A.. – Botswana border.
