Mission |
We, the Department of Road Transport and Safety are
dedicated to making travel in Botswana safer and more
efficient through road transport regulation, vehicle
road worthiness testing, driver training and testing,
public education, registration and licensing of motor
vehicles, drivers, public transport operators, motor
dealers, number plate manufacturers and driving schools.
We commit ourselves to providing these services in
partnership with our stakeholders in a caring,
transparent, timely and professional manner in
accordance with the relevant legislation, National
Policies and Plans as well as Vision 2016.
