ARUP Botswana is registered as an external company in Botswana and is directly responsible to the Ove ARUP Partnership Board. The practice has been operating in Botswana since 1965 and has had an established office in Gaborone since 1977.

Ove ARUP and Partners is an international group of multi disciplinary consulting engineering practices, based in the UK and operating in Europe, Africa, America, Australia, the Middle East and south east Asia. The group has over 60 established offices in 21 countries and has contributed internationally to the design and construction of many major building and civil projects.

ARUP Botswana offers consulting engineering services established to meet the developing needs of the country requiring skills in building, civil, mechanical, electrical, municipal, transportation, and water engineering. As part of a large multi disciplinary engineering group special skills can be drawn from other ARUP offices worldwide as the needs of specific projects dictate.

The ARUP Partnership has a staff of over 3 000 covering building, structural, civil, geotechnical, highways, bridge, water, transportation, maritime and industrial engineering. Specialist groups include Research and Development, Fire Engineering, Economic and Planning, Project Management, Acoustics, Communication and Information Technology, Facade Engineering and Security Consultancy.

ARUP Botswana offers full pre and post contract engineering services to all its clients. Initial pre investment and feasibility studies are often carried out in conjunction with specialist groups from the UK, particularly ARUP Economics and Planning.
