THE SCHOOL
ITSOSENG is a citizen owned Private School, established in January
1994. The School is fully registered with the
Ministry of Education, Registration No. SE/4/l/7/b4. The School
is a unified Secondary Schoo! that offers both Junior and Senior
Secondary Programmes
for day and evening students. "Itsoseng is a Setswana expression
for a "wake up call".
MISSION STATEMENT
Our aim is to provide sound and useful education in a conducive
learning environment which will equip students with the vita! and
necessary tools to enable them to live and work in this fast changing
world. Our ultimate goat is to produce well -nurtured and capable
citizens for the good of the country.
VISION
The school currently has 16 spacious classrooms and some buildings
are in the pipeline e.g. a school hall and a Library.
SCHOOL CURRICULUM
At Senior Secondary level the school offers a variety of BGCSE
subjects. The School was established and promoted good relations
with local communities through its student's participatory efforts
in the development projects
e.g clean up campaigns in / Mogoditshane, fund raising, etc

SPORTS AND CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
The school is a member of Botswana Institutional Sports Association
and competes in
Soccer, Athletics, Table Tennis and Volleyball. In a bid to establish
greater awareness and discover pupils abilities the School
also has the following clubs; Traditional Dance, Debate, Scripture
Union and Music.
ROLE OF PARENTS
Parents should ensure that fees are. payable at the beginning
of the year. We also have flexible payment plans,
these can be obtained from the Principal's office. There are open
days where parents are expected to discuss the progress
of their children with their respective: teachers.
STAFFING
To ensure quality teaching every effort is made to recruit only
qualified and experienced Teachers to guide and prepare students
for their examinations.
ASSESMENTS AND REPORTS
We perceive homework as an essential part of learning as it not
only provides the teachers with a rnechanism
that assesses students progress but also gives parents an opportunity
to play an active role in their children's progress.
Reports of students performance and progress are prepared of the
end of each term.
BOOKS AND STATIONERY
Books and stationery are not included in the school fees, students
ore expected to buy their own.
