The Institute commenced operation in January 1999 and offers the following services:
* Career guidance and counselling to current and ex-students who are uncertain about their career interests, as well as to people in employment, or retrenched, who are keen to retrain or upgrade their qualifications.
* Student placement at all levels, anywhere in the world, but with a deliberate bias in the region.
* Facilitating the upgrading of qualifications through distance education from certificate courses to PhD, especially against the background of the ever shrinking sponsorship for in-serve trainees, and the limited capacity of our local tertiary institutions
* Facilitating private tutoring at all levels, including revision for examinations for completing students.
* Information services about courses, institutions, prospects and opportunities for higher education in general.
* Career guidance exhibitions, workshops and facilitating in-house training
* Education consultancy work, especially at tertiary level.
* Administration of private examinations.

OUR VISION

BA ISAGO Institute is increasingly positioning itself centre-stage to human resources development endeavours in Botswana, by opening up more and more avenues and opportunities for Botswana, at tertiary institutions around the world, but with particular focus and emphasis in Southern Africa. It is also the Institute's aim to support, in a practical way, the SADC Protocol on Education and Training, especially relating to student mobility in the region

EXPOS

BA ISAGO Institute has since 1999, successfully hosted two international EXPOs in Careers, Education & Training Opportunities Within Southern African Tertiary Institutions. Such Expos offer a rare opportunity to both pre-service students and in-service trainees, be they government sponsored or privately sponsored.
They afford the above -mentioned an opportunity to get first hand information on:
* Courses, tuition and related fees
* Entry/admission requirements, commencercenent dates and duration of courses
* Relevance and appropriacy of courses
* Safety and security on campus and at residences
* How to secure study permits etc.

Institutions also get an opportunity to market themselves and their programmes. :

We also intend to inculcate in the minds of our students and trainees, a sense of pride in, and appreciation to studying in local and regional institutions, before looking to institutions abroad.

The Expos are also meant to create awareness amongst the general public about the many institutions in the region, which offer a wide range of disciplines. This is in keeping with Botswana's Vision 2016, of building a highly informed nation.

Encourage sponsors and parents to realise the relative cost-effectiveness of sending their children and students to regional institutions.

And above all, we endeavour realistically create a platform that promotes the SADC Protocol on Education and Training, relating to student mobility in the region.

It is our ardent hope and wish that every participant (exhibitor) from within and outside the country, will help us, through these EXPOS, to realise the aforementioned objectives, for the benefit of Botswana students and their institutions.
